Pippa Smith

Assistant Programme Manager

Pippa is a Assistant Programme Manager working predominantly on EU prizes including the European Social Innovation Competition.

She joined Nesta from Climate-KIC, the EU’s main climate innovation initiative. At Climate-KIC she managed an accelerator programme, organising funding, coaching, incubation space and other opportunities for clean technology start-ups. Pippa began her career at Student Hubs, developing skills-based volunteering opportunities for students at Imperial College London.

Pippa has a BA in History from the University of Cambridge. Whilst at university she was a founding member of Cambridge Development Initiative, a student-led international development charity operating in Tanzania, of which she remains a trustee.

Pippa enjoys exploring London on foot, modern art and funk and soul music. She speaks French and Spanish.
