Nina is Digital Content Editor for the Challenge Prize Centre, creating and managing content for the Centre’s digital platforms. Her work aims to raise awareness about the societal issues underpinning the various challenge prizes as well as help drive prize participation.
Prior to joining Nesta, Nina was communications manager at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where she disseminated research on neglected tropical diseases, as well as organised and delivered overseas workshops in places including Kenya, Nigeria and Ethiopia.
Before that, she worked in publishing for entertainment brands as both a marketeer and a writer in London. Her stint in New York was spent as editorial assistant at the Ford Foundation.
In her spare time she is a freelance writer and has written about topics as diverse as sci-fi, malaria and baby elephants. She loves wildlife and natural history, partly due to growing up in the Caribbean.
